Site Operation

Our website is running 24/7 but we may be feeding the horses or even asleep. Your order will be dealt with as soon as possible. We'll send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order and then another one when we have dispatched the goods. We can only send items as yet by post to the UK and EU (European Countries).

Using search

Search appears in the right hand navigation of every page and searches by a simple product title.

How to order on-line

Simply browse through our range of products by selecting the category headings and product types or using the search feature. Then click on the product name or picture. View all of the illustrations of the product by hovering over the small pictures to the left. When you have found an item you are interested in, choose any attributes like colour or size and click the 'add to basket' button. Once you are ready to checkout, click "Shopping Basket" to view & check your order. You can delete items from your basket or go back and add more. When you are ready you can push the "Proceed to Checkout button". If you are not registered or not logged on you will be asked to login or register before you can proceed to the checkout. We do not see or keep any of your card details, that is all dealt with by PayPal and you do not need a PayPal account to pay by Credit/Debit/Switch Card.

We have a "registration" and "Login", function to the site. This allows you to store your details so that you do not have to keep re-entering your home and delivery address every time you create a new order on the site. When you are registered (you will have had to register to make a purchase) you can "Login" on your return to the site. This allows you to see your orders, which we file, and check their progress by clicking on the "My Orders" link in the top right-hand side of the page. If you wish to change your password there is a link here that allows you to do that. If you have forgotten your password you can attempt to "Login" and then click on the "Forgotten your password" link in the login box.

How to pay

You can pay safely & securely on-line, by credit or debit card. PayPal who accept most valid debit or credit cards processes your payment. You do not need to open or have a PayPal account. If you do have a PayPal account then you will be able to use your account direct. PayPal processes your card details securely and we do not see or store your card details. We do store your address and other details.

If you wish, you can also print out your order and send it to us enclosing a cheque or postal order. Please make all cheques & postal orders payable to "Turvey Tack". Please note that payment must be cleared in full before goods are despatched. VAT : We are not registered for VAT yet so the price you see is the price you pay for the item.

Postage is calculated by adding all of your items together in your order as one package. The postage is added to your order at the checkout. You can choose from the postal options available at the checkout. You will notice that as you choose different postage options the total of your order is recalculated. All of the available postage classes will be displayed for your combined order. So that you can choose first or second-class postage, if it is available.

Pay by credit, switch, or debit card. You do not need a PayPal account to do this but if you do have a PayPal account you can pay directly at PayPal.

Please enter the details as requested on the form. Your full card details are never available to us. All of your sensitive card information is transferred and handled by directly. You pay PayPal in our account, so we never have access to your full financial information.

Secure shopping

From our secure pages (The address of the page on which you enter your card details will start with "https:" and not "http:" as unsecured pages do) your payment is processed by PayPal who accept most valid debit or credit cards. PayPal processes your card details securely and we do not see or store your card details.

Delivery options

At our checkout you will be given a range of postage options available to you. These are calculated from the overall dimensions and weight of your combined order and from the postal rates. This gives you the flexibility to match your delivery requirements with the various services available. Which will affect delivery times.

We cannot guarantee next day orders and any postal guarantee will depend on how soon we can parcel and post your order. We will of course make every effort to send your order as soon as possible. If you require your delivery "next day" please make sure you select one of the guaranteed next day delivery services and we will try our best to process your order with priority.

Export orders

Please be aware that we can only send items as yet by post to the UK and EU (European Countries).

Back orders

An item may be temporarily out of stock. In that event, we will automatically put that item onto back order and send when the back order is complete unless advised to the contrary. We will contact you via e-mail to advise if this situation should arise. All back orders will be forwarded at our cost although we do reserve the right to choose the delivery service used.

Order cancellations

To cancel an order or part order:
Before Dispatch: before we dispatch your consignment please contact us as soon as possible.

After Dispatch: You may cancel your order any time up to seven working days from receiving your order. Any order cancelled within this timeframe may be returned in an unopened and unused state for refund. Please contact us stating your name & order number.

Returns policy

You may cancel your order any time up to seven working days from receiving your order. This is your statutory right with any purchase made online. Prior to returning your order please contact us stating your name, address & order number and your reason for returning your order. You will be asked whether you have used the product(s) and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Return the goods at your cost along with your order number, name & full address. Failure to do so may result in your refund or exchange being delayed.

Please also make careful note of the following points:

• Any returning item must be returned in re-saleable condition, unused and complete with all original packaging.
• Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for products that have been opened from sealed packages.
• While we are happy to refund the cost of the goods ordered, we cannot refund the delivery charges and these remain the responsibility of the customer.
• In some special cases we may consider accepting returns after 7 days but no longer than 30 days from date of delivery. Your statutory rights are seven days for purchases online. These situations will be assessed individually.

Faulty goods

We do not exchange or refund items that have been wilfully damaged, misused, altered without our prior consent or that are subject to damage through excessive wear & tear. We make every effort to check that all products despatched are of a quality standard and spot check all & every delivery received from our suppliers. However, if you do find any item to be faulty, you should contact us straight away and we will gladly discuss a refund or exchange. You should let us know within seven days of finding the fault or thirty days from date of delivery to you, whichever is the earlier.

Prior to returning your order please contact us stating your name, address & order number and your reason for returning your order. You will be asked whether you have used the product(s) and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Return the goods at your cost along with your order number, full name & address. Failure to do so may result in your refund or exchange being delayed. Your replacement item will only be despatched to you after the original faulty item has been returned to Turvey Tack.

Please be aware that all returned items are inspected upon their return.

Privacy policy

Turvey Tack is committed to ensuring the privacy of customer's personal details.

The personal information we gather is either used to:

• Enable us to process your order
• Contact you if you sign up as a Member

We do not pass personal details on to any outside bodies and would not unless instructed to do so by law. We may use summary information & statistics from this site to help develop and improve the services we currently offer. To carry out development work on the site, summary information and statistics may be shared with third parties – these will not include any information that could be used to identify an individual.

Our website does not knowingly use Cookies. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can adjust your settings to refuse them if you prefer.

VAT

All prices quoted on this website do not include VAT. There is no VAT on the price.

Product images

We try to give clear and accurate images of our products but obviously the item that you purchase may not be the item we photographed to illustrate the product. There should be little or no difference between the illustration and the product you purchase.
We are aware that some colours viewed may vary slightly from computer to computer depending on the internet connection and a computer"s settings. Please note that the colour illustrated on our website and the actual colour of the product delivered may vary slightly. Please also be aware that our manufacturers reserve the right to change the design & spec for all ranges without notice. We in turn hope to modify the illustrations to match. If you have any problems with the illustrations or require more images and information of a specific product, please contact us.
